Among the first offerings in our curated dunhill selection is the Blue Aquarium Moth Pocket Turbo Lighter—a remarkable fusion of functionality and art, masterfully reimagined in a smaller silhouette. This exquisite object is destined to become a prized collector’s item.

The lighter’s design is a celebration of the English countryside’s gentle beauty. Across its acrylic panels, an Emperor moth—a traditional symbol of transformation and renewal—soars through a tranquil field of blue cornflowers and tall grass. The reverse intaglio technique, once used to create the original Aquarium lighters, brings the scene vividly to life. Each of the lucite panels is first carved, then meticulously foiled and painted from within to achieve a rich, three-dimensional effect that has become the signature of dunhill’s aquarium artistry.

Encased within the hand-crafted artwork is a palladium-plated, removable Dunhill Turbo lighter—a technical marvel first introduced over a century ago as the House’s rugged sports lighter. It has since been refined into a state-of-the-art jet flame system powered by butane and designed for reliable ignition in all weather conditions. Compact yet substantial, the lighter fits perfectly in hand or pocket and is presented in an elegant Alfred Dunhill lacquered presentation box.
