The Saphir Médaille d’Or Pâte De Luxe Wax Polish is a world-renowned formula, trusted by discerning shoe enthusiasts and prestigious shoemakers alike. Crafted from the finest natural oils and waxes, this traditional polish cleans, nourishes, and protects smooth leather while creating an elegant, high-gloss shine. Specially developed for achieving a mirror finish (glaçage) on the toecap and heel, it enhances the depth of color with carefully selected pigments while maintaining transparency to build a rich patina over time.
This iconic formula combines beeswax to nourish and soften, carnauba wax to deliver a lasting shine, and montan wax to protect against moisture and wear. Infused with natural turpentine spirit extracted from Southern European pine trees, it penetrates the leather to clean, condition, and ensure superior wax absorption.
Application: Brush the leather to remove dust and dirt, then apply a small amount of Pâte De Luxe with a cotton cloth or brush, paying special attention to welt seams for added protection. Massage the polish into the leather and allow it to dry for five minutes between thin coats. Buff with a bristle brush or wool glove to reveal a soft shine. For a mirror finish, continue applying thin layers to the toe and heel, using minimal product to avoid buildup or cracking across the vamp.
