Any new, wooden humidor needs to first be "seasoned" before any cigars are stored inside. The dry wood of any new, unseasoned humidor can "rob" new cigars of their humidity, rapidly drying them out. This is why it is important to first over-saturate the wood by "seasoning" it.
The Boveda 84% Humidor Seasoning Packs take the guesswork out of seasoning new humidors! Simply place one inside any new humidor for seven to 14 days to allow the wood to absorb the humidity from the pack. After complete, your humidor is ready for a standard Boveda humidor pouch and to accept your cigars!
The 320g Boveda pack is for up to a 400-count humidor. For larger humidors, use multiple Boveda pack for additional 200 cigars your humidor is able to accommodate.
