We’re proud to feature J.FitzPatrick shoes here at KirbyAllison.com, a collection known for its sharp style and refined construction.
All J.FitzPatrick shoes are made using UK sizing and converted to US sizes on our site. For example, a standard width is UK ‘E’, which corresponds to a US ‘D’. If you typically wear a US10D, you can expect the same fit in most J.FitzPatrick models—with the exception of select chisel-toe lasts in the Handgrade line, which may fit slightly differently.
Keep in mind that the sizing follows the standard one-size UK-to-US difference (e.g., UK9 = US10).

Lasts
Fit varies slightly across the Handgrade lasts. Four lasts—TMG, JKF, MGF, and LPB—share a consistent heel-to-ball fit with variations only in the forefoot, while others like NGT, SEA, and SES offer a tighter midfoot. The NJF last has a more generous fit, ideal for boots. Additionally, the style of the shoe impacts fit: oxfords, derbys, monkstraps, and boots will all feel different due to construction and lacing. For example, derbys often feel roomier than oxfords, and boots may require a half-size up for comfort.
Loafers are cut intentionally snug to account for the lack of laces or buckles. We typically recommend taking the same size as your oxfords unless you prefer a very tight fit—in which case, consider sizing up. For a more detailed breakdown of each last and how it fits, we invite you to consult our J.FitzPatrick Last Guide.
