Engineered with a refined lever action mechanism, the cutter required significantly less force than traditional guillotine or butterfly designs, delivering a smooth, controlled, and effortless cut. Designed to accommodate most traditional cigar formats, it comfortably cut cigars up to approximately 50 ring gauge and, depending on the specific cigar, up to 58 ring gauge.
Each example was meticulously hand polished and finished in copper, nickel, and 23 karat gold plating. A Solingen stainless steel blade ensured exceptional sharpness and durability, reflecting El Casco’s longstanding commitment to mechanical excellence and craftsmanship.
Measuring 15.5 x 8.3 x 3.5 cm or 6.1 x 3.2 x 1.3 inches and weighing 330 grams, this cutter was manufactured in Spain and remains a benchmark of refinement within the world of fine cigar accessories.
