Crafted in France, the Saphir Médaille d’Or Renovateur Macadamia is a gentle, water-based formula enriched with macadamia oil, beeswax, and lanolin. Designed without mink oil, it provides a lighter conditioning treatment that is less likely to over-soften leather or cause darkening, making it ideal for larger surface area items such as handbags and jackets, as well as shoes, belts, and accessories. The absence of mink oil is not only to create a gentler product, but also to offer an alternative for those who prefer to avoid mink oil for ethical reasons.
Macadamia oil and lanolin penetrate to restore softness and flexibility, while beeswax leaves a refined shine and a protective layer. This balanced formula cleans, nourishes, and protects fine smooth leathers, including box calf, goat, and specialty leathers such as cordovan.
Application: Brush the leather to remove dust and dirt. Apply sparingly with a clean cotton cloth, working the product evenly into the surface. Allow to dry for three minutes, then polish with a cotton cloth or wool glove to achieve a subtle sheen.
