Hi, I'm Kirby Allison, founder of The Hanger Project, and I'm here today to talk to you about the Saphir Medaille d'Or Cordovan Cream Polish. Now the cordovan cream polish from Saphir is really special because it's the only cream polish or the only shoe polish developed specifically for shell cordovan leathers. Now shell cordovan couldn't be any more different than normal calfskin. The reason is because it's not a skin like normal calfskin it's actually a tight fibrous membrane found in the rear quarters of horses. That tight fibrous structure that really creates all those unique properties that people have appreciated and looked to for cordovan needs to be respected. So if you use a traditional shoe polish that is high in solvents it'll actually penetrate the cordovan leather and cause that pore structure or that membrane structure to expand. And over time that can actually change the texture and characteristics of the cordovan leather.

Now the Saphir Medaille d'Or Cordovan Cream Polish uses a Neatsfoot oil base to penetrate and condition the cordovan leather, available in five different colors to allow you to perfectly match the pigment to the color of cordovan shoes that you have. And then it contains a beeswax to provide that wax finish to help you elevate the shine and provide protection for your shoes. If you have any questions about the Saphir Cordovan Cream Polish or any of our other cordovan products on Hangerproject.com, we're always happy to answer your questions. Feel free to email us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. I'm Kirby Allison, founder of the Hanger Project and thanks for joining me.
